Live on the ground floor of a charming farmhouse of approximately 70 m2 from 1820 with room for the whole family, suitable for 4-6 people. Here you will live in genuine and homely accommodation close to Astrid Lindgren's World and Vimmerby city centre.
Good to know
The Lower Farmhouse is located in an older house from 1820.
The ceiling height is approximately 2 meters, which adds to the charm of the house, but it may be good to be aware of if someone in the party is tall. For guests who want higher ceiling heights, we recommend one of our other accommodations.

The Lower Farmhouse offers a unique combination of preserved details and modern amenities. Beautiful wallpaper, thoughtful interior design and a quiet location make this a popular accommodation for families with children.
There is a newly renovated kitchen, a fresh bathroom, a bedroom with a double bed and a second bedroom with a spacious built-in bunk bed.
Our personal favorite in The Lower Farmhouse is the children's bedroom which is furnished with a custom-built pirate-themed bunk bed (after Pippi and the Pirates), don't miss the old wooden window from the 17th century that sits in the playpen under the upper bunk. We renovated the kitchen with a focus on function but without losing the old style. The large bedroom which is adjacent to the living room houses a double bed while the second bedroom is equipped with a custom-built playful bunk bed which is appreciated by the children.
